Artist's Comments
Changing the Title to "Pheonix i" because from a distance it looks a little like a wild firebird or Pheonix and the "i" is for me because I have been out of the art scene for over a decade but now I am coming back.
A canvas print of this piece is currently on display at the Artel Gallery in Pensacola, Florida. [link] Price $239 It seems like all artist are fascinated by eyes, their own or others. I have resisted doing photographic study of eyes becuase it has been done so well by so many oter people, so many times before, that I did not think I could add much to the topic. However I do not want to seem like I am unable to produce something as good as the rest here at DA, so here it is: my right eye. But as I was cleaning up the previous picture Normal view I ran across the "curves" adjustment in PS to interesting effects. Thought this one was worth showing others. Not nomal view. Posterized. Thanks for the view. Michael John Cheney Pentax K10D 35-80mm Tripod, visible in eye reflection. ShutterFly [link] |
